I'm wondering if there is a way to connect multiple masks together and use the combo as an inside or outside mask in Keylight. I'm masking around feet and just think it would be easier to have individual masks for each foot but keylight only allows one mask to be selected.

Looking for any insights, I always think masking/rotoscoping could/should be easier than it is.

Why don't you use those multiple masks on a separate layer as a track matte for the chroma key layer, and then apply keylight?

I THINK the AE render order will let you do that. If not, just precomp the track matte and chroma key layer, and apply Keylight to the precomp.
