Hi everyone,

I am creating a video using trapcode particular 2. I have created the whole animation, however my idea is to maintain the particles animated along a path, . For now, every second creates a few particles. If I down this parameter to 1, does not create anything.

To brief, should be the same amount of particles for the whole animation.

I am sorry for my english, but I hope you could understand the idea.

Many thanks.

If you don't want particles to disappear after they're born, crank up the particle's life property.

If you don't want to see them being born, but you still want them to trace a motion path, I think you'll have to extend the particle life as above and slide the Particular and any light emitter layers around the timeline. You'll have to be very careful of any physics time factor or wind/gravity settings, as they will impact the look dramatically.

I hope I've understood what you were asking about.

Hi , thanks a lot walter. To be honest I did not understand really your answer. However I have been checking the parameters you said me, and now it works fine. I have animated the physics time factor from 1 to 0 to maintain the numbers of particles, and to make it along the path I have animated the Z offset along a light. I have a lot still to improve it, but for now this really makes a big difference.

thanks a lot for your support.

Regards,
Victor

If there's anything I can clarify, please feel free to ask.

I'm glad to hear that your comp is working better!
