Hi there, Im currently learning Games design at univesity. Im lookin to score some browny points by creating a title screen animation in after effects. The effect Im after is a dripping goo effect. The game is called 'bogey fred' (had to be a game based on a character in my life) and am looking for dripping bogeys.

The dripping goo is to slime off the logo which can be found here:

Anyone point me in a direction of a tutorial?
All help welcomed!!

Many thanks for reading my post.

Kind regards, Kelvin.

One strategy would be to Liquify like in the following tutorial
http://library.creativecow.net/articles/rabinowitz_aharon/horror_text2/vide...

or you could create a more refined drip shape, via shape layer or mask using the pen tool. Key the shape dripping over time and have it ease in to position. Duplicate and resize placing around text until you get the look you want.

hope this helps
