Hello,

does anyone have any tip so I can split files into segments "automatically" when rendering a movie?
I have a 60 minute video, that I need to render into "chunks" of clips of 5 seconds. Obviously, I am
looking to automate this...Should I assume that only a "scripting" solution will fit my need?
If yes, how complex would it be to create such scripts?

Thank you for any advise.

regards,

William Turner

Preferences>Output allows you to segment movies based on their filesizes. For temporal segmentation, a script is the way to go.

Thank you Roland. My only concern with this method is the accuract of the split.
Actually I am rendering a stereoscopic video. So I have to video sequences (left and right eye). It is mandatory that I render each clip at the exact frame. So when I split video 1 (left eye) and video 2 (right eye) they both need to be chunked/split at the exact same frame. I found this link:

I will see if I can leverage the scripts.
