Audio channels.

Hi just a quick question, I've had a video file passed to me from an external source. The audio however is only one channel, in both the audio control box and the waveform only one channel contains audio.

Is there an easy way to pass this audio onto the other channel - it's only for basic web output so nothing hugely complex in terms of audio, but obviously having it coming out of both speakers is a bonus.

I have tried setting the audio to mono in output settings to no avail.

If not I guess I'll be back to the source to request another version.

Since AE is rarely -- if ever -- used to create files for final delivery, I don't see this as a particularly big problem. Who gets the file next? Are they counting on you to deliver the final product?

Well it goes on to someone to convert/compress it and then onto the web, my concern was that I'd be passing the problem along when I could easily fix it.

AER's strength does NOT lie in audio. Tell the next guy he has to fix it.

Thought this may be the case. Was just checking to try and save someone a job.

Thanks for the help Dave.
