I am using multiple nested compositions, all elements synced to the main soundtrack.
The problem is that after nesting I do not see the original audio markers (neitther from the audio comp, nor from the main comp) and the only solution I have is to copy the layer marker tracks every time deep inside the structure to follow the timing.
Is there any easier way to see the marker track always, independently of which item in the nested structure I work on?
If you can limit yourself to just ten markers, the answer is yes. You set the position in the timeline, then hit shift-zero through shift-9 to create ten markers at the top of the the timeline. They will appear when you nest the comp in the main comp.
Need more than that? You'd have to add them by hand once you nest the comp.
