Dear Friends
I have been having some regular issues with AECS5.
When making adjustments or generally working, there will come a time where the entire screen will have a heavy flicker, the computer will freeze and I need to power down to shut down.
Am I alone in this?
Can it be fixed? Really very annoying.

Are you going to make us guess about your computer system, your OS, your additional cards and drives and other software installed...

or are you going to provide such information to help us make an informed diagnosis?

Areca SAS Card
8TB Maxx Digital Expando2K Drive
OSX 10.6.4

CS4 and CS5 Suites
FCP Suite
Automatic Duck 5
RED Cine/Red Rushes, etc
Logic Pro 9

Not sure what else to write.

Does this look like enough info?

There are problems with Mac OSX v10.6.4 and NVIDIA drivers. This doesn't just affect After Effects or other Adobe software. It's a universal problem with Mac OSX v10.6.4 and NVIDIA GPUs.
