 | Trapcode Particular: multiple instances and different emitters?
on Jul 14, 2010 at 11:34:05 pm |
Hi all:
Suppose I have in a comp several different instances of Particular. All of them use lights as emitters, but I want some lights to act as emitters for one Particular instance and other lights to act as emitters for another instance. Is that possible? I have the impression that the dialog that controls the name of the lights used as emitters is global, i.e., acts on all instances of the plugin.
Thanks in advance,
Paulo.

Sure you can. Just go into the Options of your Particular plugin on one of the layers and change the name of the lights used as generator from "Emitter" to "Generator" (or whatever you like). This way on that layer Particular will use as generators only the lights that have a name that starts with "Generator" and not "Emitter".
