I am having an issue with my After Effects CS5 when sending to Compressor. Regardless of the codec I use, when I compress a video for web using Compressor, the results are terrible. Very pixelated and just poor quality. I have to bring the video into FCP and export from there, THEN bring that video into Compressor to get good results. Any help?

This sounds like an interlacing issue. It's very true for SD video, and possible for 1080 video.

1080p video is almost always interlaced, too: they call it "progresive segmented frame". You can get true 1080p video, but the cameras capable of doing it cost as much as a new Corvette.

So tell us about your footage, how you rendered it in AE, and what you do differently in FCP as opposed to Compressor.
