I am working with R3D files and would like to reference the original time code that is in the metadata. Is there a way for after effects to display this the embedded time code? Maybe a 3rd party plugin that can read the clip metadata?

Thanks in advance,

Okay, first things first: you're the same guy with THIS system?

Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz

You've got far bigger problems than the inability to see time code, my friend! You need a boatload more RAM to handle those R3D files, and how!

How do you ever do any RAM previewing? What do you get, ten seconds or something?

Incidentally, I'm sorry, but I know of no plugin to read RED time code for AE. Isn't there a RED forum here on the COW, where they'd know?
