I have two masks on a single layer. The layer consist of a basic still image. The first, outer mask is functioning fine, but the second, inner mask is not working as it should.
I just want to mask out a section of the photo, which lies within the larger, first mask.

I have ran into this before and forgot what the solution is.
Please refresh my memory.

Play around with the mask modes: Add Subtract, None, Intersect, etc. You'll find the proper combination to get what you want. There's a pretty good description of how multiple masks interact with each other on the same layer In AE Help.
