Hello, I'm needing to deliver a 30 second 1080p 23.976 fps video to an ABC station that requires a 720 progressive 59.94 fps version. I'm not sure how to do this for a progressive frame rate.

I'm familiar with creating a pulldown conversion in after effects in order to render an interlaced master, but this needs to be progressive.

If you've got a by-gosh-real 1080p 23.976 comp -- no interlacing anywhere, and I can't think why there would be -- it's pretty straightforward.

Make a 1280x720 59.94 fps comp, and nest your current comp in it, scaling the layer to fit the new comp dimensions. The higher frame rate means the 23.976 frames fall just right you'll get what appears to be 3:2 pulldown. Pretty neat.

If you have to deliver DVCPro HD, you'd better think about making a 960x720 comp. That's just how DVCPro HD works.
