After effetcs arrow cam animated

Hello,
I am making a short movie and I need a cam that sits on a flying arrow. Is there a tutorial how to make such an effect? I've seen this in films like Robin Hodd, but I think it's a real camera,Is not it?
Thanks for answers.

To pull off a shot like this takes a combination of techniques.

Remember those really fast speeder chases through the woods in "Return of the Jedi"? Those were shot using a Panavision camera running at something like 2 frames/sec, on a Steadicam to keep the motion smooth, and speeded up to 24 fps to create the fast speeds.

They used some variant of that in Robin Hood, simply compositing an arrow into the shot.

"Return of the Jedi"- great vfx!
Dave is right- that's the way you do it in production. However there may be ways to do it in AE- but that depends a lot on your shot. Do you have a storyboard you can post? This way we may be able to provide other options.

Thank you
i will try it this way but i think without a stadicam it could be difficult^^ Do you think that when i go very slowly with my cam and speed it up after it will work? Or should i make stop motion with a photo at every step?

You need a smooth path along which your physical, real-life camera can move. That's the trick. Hand-holding the camera won't work well, because people simply can't be a smooth as a piece of machinery or a rig of some sort.

if you could set up a steel cable at a decent height, then you could suspend the camera on rollers- kinda' like a telecabin - and move it along the cable.
