I am trying to add an adjustment layer to text. I want to bezier warp fractal noise on the text, not the text it self. Is it possible to apply the warp to just the fractal noise and not the entire layer?
Thanks for your help. Before you chastize me for not using the search I have spent a long, long time searching to no avail.

I'm not really sure what you're asking for, but I'll try to explain how to do what I think that you're asking for.

Apply the noise and distortion effects to a layer.

Create a separate text layer.

Use the text layer as a track matte, so the distorted noise layer shows through the text outlines of the track matte.
