Hi,

I was wondering what the best order would be: key first and grade after or the other way around? I'm using Primatte in AE and want to use Apple Color for the grading. Or should I get Primatte for FCP and use that instead?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Key first, do compositing and first pass color correction to match the chroma footage to your background footage. Then proceed to the final grading. I prefer Magic Bullet, Colorista and Synthetic Aperture in AE to grade, but Apple Color works just fine.
