Hey all. I'm new here, and new to After Effects... Was hoping someone could clarify something for me, and potentially save me HOURS of work =D

I'm working on a short film, and I have to remove the logo from a hockey bag in a few scenes. The bag is constantly moving, which makes it more difficult.

What I've begun doing is going in frame by frame and using the clone stamp tool to take out the logo, but what I'm wondering is if there's a way to take all those clone stamp 'layers' that I've created and assign them to a null object, and then just animate the null object across the moving bag.

I've tried doing it, but it seems as though I'm unable to attach the clone stamp paint layers to the null object...

Can anyone clarify how to do it for me?

Would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks all!

Create your coverup layer and check out motion tracking.
