Hey,

So I'm having an issue with footage in a composition. It looks really pixelated and edgy, but the comp settings match the footage info. Even when I create a new after effects project and drag the footage in, it looks great, but for some reason in this project it does not. (which matches the settings of which I dragged it in and it looks good)

Any suggestions? This piece is due tomorrow and I'm freaking out! Thanks for the help.

I am not sure about this but, have you done any transformation to that footage? If so, click the collapse transformation. If this won't solve your problem, just send me caps of your AE screen. ( alptonay@yahoo.com.tr) I will try to help you..

Sometimes AE incorrectly interprets your footage as interlaced when it's not.
Go into the project panel, right click on the footage and select Interpret Footage > Main...
In Fields and Pulldown, change Separate Fields to Off and hit OK.

Still look bad?

Make sure you're not working at Draft quality in the timeline, and that you're viewing at Full resolution in the Comp window.
