CC Cylinder

Hello Everyone,
I am just learning about the CC Cylinder and I placed a jpeg photo of an Indy Car to use as a background on a virtual set. When I clicked on "inside" in the render drop menu, the picture becomes reversed. Any ideas why?

Because it assumes you want that picture in the inside of the cylinder, that's why.

You want to fix it? Put the picture in another comp, reverse only the horizontal scale, and nest this comp in your main comp. Now you can use your CC Cylinder trick.

Thanks Dave! That worked, now, is it possible to get rid of the seam in the center of the screen? Is that a camera rotation issue?

Play with the cylinder rotation, and use the Offset effect in on the picture in that nested comp.
