Could someone help me with any tips on adding the ripple effect to a short piece of video so that the ripple 'ripples' once per beat in time with the related audio track.

Ive placed markers on the beat and would like to line up the effect with the markers but the effect just runs constantly through the entire thing (if that makes sense!?)

Sorry if this is a bit vague, if ive missed out any important info ill be happy to elaborate.

You should have dials in ripple that control the frequency of ripple (as well as others). Ripple runs like a clock, so you won't be able to adjust individual ripples, unless you slowly keyframe-adjust the frequency to stay on the beat (i.e. for live music). If your music is quantized this shouldn't be an issue, though.

You might want have either the wave height or radius (or both) be affected by the layer markers by adapting this tutorial.
