My comp is long enough, my beginning and end point are set correctly, I have plenty of room on my drive; yet for some reason AE is not wanting to export the entire video.. it's doing about 3/4 of it and stopping without mentioning any error. Any ideas?

What's your work area set to?

I'm not sure what you mean, but I have the beginning point set at the beginning of the comp and the end point set to where I want it to end.

Here's what Michael means:

If that's what you're doing, there are 3 common impediments to AE happiness:
Rendering with Open GL enabled. Turn it off for rendering.
Not having the FREE upgrade to AE 9.02. Get it.
Using the wrong kind of footage....

Dave's Stock Answer #1:

If the footage you imported into AE is any kind of the following -- footage in an HDV acquisition codec, MPEG1, MPEG2, AVCHD, mp4, m2t, H.261 or H.264 -- you need to convert it to a different codec.

These kinds of footage use temporal, or interframe compression. They have keyframes at regular intervals, containing complete frame information. However, the frames in between do NOT have complete information. Interframe codecs toss out duplicated information.

In order to maintain peak rendering efficiency, AE needs complete information for each and every frame. But because these kinds of footage contain only partial information, AE freaks out, resulting in a wide variety of problems.

And don't export! Render using AE's Render Queue!

I restarted my computer and it renders out completely now.
