object projects outside of composition
on Mar 4, 2010 at 5:11:54 am

I created a short movie so that I could lift a car and smash it. The problem I have run into is that the car which projected out of sight in the composition can be seen after making the movie. In other words the back of the car projects out side of the frame. When I worked on the composition it looked great but now after making the movie you can see the whole car and it projects outside the composition. How do I render a composition so that it is restricted to composition size?
Please note if this is too long of an answer then please email me directly for my phone number.

[Alan fabius] "How do I render a composition so that it is restricted to composition size?"

This is exactly how it works; AE comps render at the frame size specified in their composition settings.

Are you sure you were viewing the entire frame size while you were working? Screen shots of your UI and the final movie might be helpful.
