I have to do a technical presentation of an heating system. It should not be realistic, only schematic. For that i have to build some water pipes into the image of a house. In this pipes there should be some movment. Only a pattern to demonstrate some flowing water.

What is the easiest way to do that? I thougth about it an in the firts moment it seems pretty easy, but then ...

Thanks and greeting from Germany

You could use fractal noise on a long, skinny layer and, if the pipe bends, use some distort effect to shape it along the pipes.

You could use Foam. It allows particles to be guided by a gradient flow map.

If you have it, you could use Particular. You can guide the path of particles iwth another layer's motion.
