i got a moving rectangle in a 3d scene. the rectangle has rounded corners and this is done with a mask (path)

the content of the rectangle (image or movie) is supposed to stay the same size - but i want to stretch and move it over time.
the problem is that the mask is stretching and moving too and i dont want that.

the rectangle is it's own composition and the mask path is part of the image layer.

my question is how can i keep the rounded corners, but resize the content (image) without resizing the mask.

i tried already many variations, checked the help and googled quite a bit but i guess i use the wrong search terms. ; )

Track Matte.
Use the mask as a track matte for separate layer. (If they're moving around in AE, you probably want to parent one to the other)
