Hello,

I am making a hand drawn(in photoshop) stop-motion animation. The size of the frames are A3, 3508 x 4961. I import the image sequence into after effects, as I want to get the animation "ready" for the screen. The thing is when I render the animation to widescreen PAL (1025 x 576) 25 fps and view it at full screen on my 24" monitor, it slightly distorted.

I also tried converting the image before importing into after effects, again at widescreen PAL (1025 x 576). The end results were pretty bad, again in full screen the images were fairly pixellated.

Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is your nice 24-inch monitor a 16x9 monitor? If not, there's no mystery why it's distorting, is there?
