Hi Everyone,

So I'm new to after effects. I have to start pushing the limits and learning AE.

I'm trying to create an illusion using a still image.

I have an image of an individual which I lassoed out and seperated it as the foreground from the background. Splitting them into two seperate layers.

I know want to have the forground move closer which i can do using the keyframes.

But i also want the camera to push in, and maybe possible around.

However, I can't seem to get the camera to move. I see the postion and rotation data moving but my actual pciture hasn't moved what so ever. Key frames are automatically selected, but still no actual movement?!

Am I missing something? Did I skip a step?

Did you remember to hit the 3d switch for your layers to turn them 3d?

Just as an FYI, there is an AE Basics forum here at the cow for those who are just beginning. It's frequented by a lot of the same folks as in the main forum, but with more patience for newbie questions.

Also, check out this post and all the links it contains. You will learn much.
