Hey Guys.

Can somebody tell me how I can do this? (but just with a video as background)

I've got a video and I want to run a Ttext through this video.
It dont need to be black and white in the background like in the picture.

I want that the text has the same color/background like the video in the background.

I know how to create a shadow on the text an I know how to run the text from the left to the right, but i dont know how it looks like the background.

can somebody help?

thanks a lot and greets from germany

You can use the text as a track matte to cut holes in the video. To get that particular look, I suggest doing it in a separate comp, then nesting it in your main comp. You can then add the bevels and shadows to the nested layer as you wish.

Good Tipp....thank you
Text as trackmatte doesnt work, but the video as trackmatte works.
