I have a composite that I'm working on that I have set up to use a Linear Workflow according to the instructions on this AE Tuts video.

My project includes RED footage, that has been Transcoded to ProRes4444. I really like the look of working in Linear, especially as I'm doing a lot of Fire Compositing, but my only problem is that I can't seem to RAM preview in a way that makes this quite usable. If I cache a group of frames into RAM, they still won't play back in real time because it says "Project Color Working Space is set to On". It will play back at something like 8fps. I'm just wondering, is there any way to optimize something in order to allow it to play back in a real time frame rate so I can see what I'm doing. Or, alternatively, is there a way to quickly toggle Project Color Working Space on and off for quick RAM preview purposes?
