you know when you make something using particle world, and there's a grid you have the option of turning off? well I precomposed a few layers that had grids, and now that they're precomposed, I can't find the option of turning the grid off. How? thanks!

did you go into every single precomp and change each layer's effects setting - AFAIK, it can only be changes there without linking all the effects together.

[Kaela Waldstein] "...I precomposed a few layers that had grids, and now that they're precomposed, I can't find the option of turning the grid off. How?"

Open the precomps. Find the particle layers. Open the effect and turn off the grid view.

Unless you plan for doing such a thing in advance using an EXTREMELY elaborate expression that I personally wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, there's no way to do it globally. Start digging.
