I'm hoping anyone can help me out on the following 'cause I have no clou on how to fix it or even where to look for the answer:

I've got this custom shaped object (pretty much triangle like). within this shape I want to make an animation but when something exits the shape on the right, I would like it to enter again on tbe left. as if the two sides were connected.
all suggetions are welcome.

tnx in advance,

You can animate the motion path. I recommend using a hold keyframe once the layer has moved off. Then on the next frame, you can simply copy and paste your already-made keyframes.

Alternately, you might look into using the Offset effect, an often-overlooked but very handy tool in AE.

Duplicate your shape layer, use the duplicate as a track matte for the element you want to move within the shape and use the offset filter to move the element out to the right and back in from the left without needing multiple instances of that element.
