Crowd in Perspective
on Nov 29, 2009 at 1:31:42 am

Hello Guys,

i have to animate a crowd of fans in a arena, for a project.
I have to do 2 Frontal Views and 1 Perspective View.
The Views will be change through Cameraflights.

My Problems in this Project are:

1. How can I make 2-d Footage ( Front Shots ) suitable for the perspective-View, can i solve that problem with a projection mapping.

2. How can I make the Footage-Clip loopable.
Can i solve that with a crossover loop.

3. Does somebody of you know, where i can get good stock video footage from cheering fans ( people ).

Thank you
PS: Sorry for my english, i hope it communicate my questions in a
comprehensible way. Otherwise donĀ“t hesitate to contact me.

To start, I would strongly suggest Crowd Control which is brought to you through! Here's a direct link to the place to go:

I've purchased a bunch of pre-keyed stock footage of people here and it's not to expensive at all. I even have purchased a bunch of people dancing from here too. both front and back shots, men and women. Check it out because I think that's exactly what you are looking for.

There is also a video tutorial on how to use Trapcode Particular 2 or Trapcode Form to create a large crowd using that footage and doing what might be similar to what you are looking to do with the crowd. If you like, check it out to get some ideas:

Hope that helps, good luck!
