I was rendering a short 1 minute composition the other day as a .mov (Quicktime Movie) and had to stop it halfway through the render. It left a large file of the partially rendered footage in the folder. I tried to delete this file, but the computer wouldn't let me, saying "This file is in use by another process. Please close that process and try again."
I've tried everything I can think of - rebooting, using the command prompt, even booting in safe mode. It gives the same error every time. Funny thing is there is no process running that could possibly be using this file - I've checked the task list and the only things running were the basic Windows processes (I'm on Vista 32 bit by the way).
Any suggestions on how I could get rid of this annoying file would be greatly appreciated.
