HI, is it possible to export AE layers from one project to another AE project? and how do i ignore a layer in AE CS 4?

You can't export layers for use in another project's comp. You have to import one project into another. If you don't want a particular layer, delete it from the comp.

Sanjeev-

You can accomplish this by importing the after effects project with the layers
you want to copy into the after effects project that you want to copy to.
Then just copy and paste from one comp to another.

If you don't want to import the entire project check out the Reduce Project
feature to reduce your first project to just the assets you would like to move.

Im not sure if "ignore" is the correct term for this but if you turn off
the eyeball icon on the layer in question, you will no longer see it and
it will not interact with other layers.
