Output mod problem! "directory orginally specified....no longer exists"
on Nov 2, 2009 at 6:52:28 pm

HI!

When I am trying to render I am getting the error:
" The directory originally specified in the selected output module no longer exists"

I am not sure what is going wrong because I never had this problem before and I've tried multiple variations in where I am saving the file to the name of the file and the compression formats.

Would be very grateful for any advice at all!

best wishes
jordan

if you know the directory exists, try rebooting. sometimes computers just need a break.

if you have already tried rebooting, try deleting/reseting the preference file. quit ae and hold ctrl+alt+shift (windows) or command+option+shift (osx) while starting after effects.
