I'm making a video that's going to look like an old amiga 500 image where the pixels are stretched to fit the aspect ratio and save memory. Obviously I don't want after effect to interpolate the pixels because I want it to look old school.

Is it possible to turn of the pixel interpolation when you stretch things in after effects? Or does someone have some work flow advice on how it might be done?

Just set the layers to draft settings.

Also, check out this thread:

Or just apply the mosaic plugin (effects/stylize/mosaic) and set the resolution you want.
