AE stuck after changing Memory & Multiprosessing preferences
on Sep 17, 2009 at 5:35:07 pm

Hi. I got stuck with AE today. I was looking for some preferences and I put the Multiprocessing on and tried to render one little thing. AE freezes there and won't do anything. I needed to kill the process but after opening the program again the setting is on and I can not put it off. I can click the checkbox but after clicking ok AE freezes again. Is there some preference files somewhere where I can take that off? By the way I have OS X..

Thanks.

Mikko

This applies to windows XP http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/406/kb406024.html

I tried on Vista, but I can't access my 'Application Data' folder so that's taking my attention on how to get into that to test on Vista. If you have XP then that should work. If you have Apple... well you didn't specify what OS you're on so...GOOD LUCK! lol

ahh no apparently I missed that, apologies XD

Well I'm sure somewhere in the adobe folder or in system area there'll be a file w/ the same name.. same instructions most likely apply.. good luck (again)

Well well. I got it work in an odd way. When I clicked OK from the Memory & Multiprocessing dialog it crashed but when I first clicked to some other preferences like to General and then clicked Ok it worked fine. :/ Odd jamming.

Thanks...
