CC Page Turn Transparency and Masking Help
on Sep 16, 2009 at 12:56:07 pm

I'm trying to use CC Page Turn to have a small stamp apply itself to an envelope. The main problem I'm having is that when the upturned corner moves outside of the stamp's dimensions, it gets clipped. I tried putting it in a larger comp but then the white layer I'm using as the "Back Page" becomes the size of the comp rather than the stamp itself. Any ideas how to do this?

On a related note, the transparency seems to drop off significantly for the portion of the Back Page on a curl that has moved such that the front is no longer underneath. Changing from 100% Back Opacity to 99% causes a large jump in the actual viewed opacity...

Thanks for the help!

Use two stanp front and stamp back precomps that are the same size as the completed animation. Put the stamp front an back in the precise position where the stamp should go in your completed animation. Make the front and back the precise size you want, too. You should then be able to use Page Turn with no difficulty.
