Time Remapping & skewed video after export
on Sep 13, 2009 at 3:25:00 am

Hi there,

I am creating a tutorial-style video for my company that consists of green screen footage shot in 720p / 30fps, and a series of screen capture videos @ 30fps in the WMV format.

In the screen capture videos, I am often using time remapping to slow down / speed up / freeze where necessary so that the on-screen actions match the audio of the narration.

After exporting to AVI (Compression: None, FPS: Best), the video is garbled in the areas that I used time remapping.

This is not my image, but as an example, the video may look something like this in certain segments where time remapping was in use: http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/photoshopelements/articles/concept_skew/c...

Any ideas? I think this would be a common issue.

Thanks,
David

Also, I have noticed that this will happen anytime the video is 100% still (i.e. if anything is visibly moving, it will not make these tearing/skewing issues)

Thanks,
David
