Hi,

Anyone know anythign about using velocity maps in AE? Also, what does the term, "clamp" mean in relation to the velocity map?

Thanks,

Eric

I've been able to extract the velocity data from and EXR file generated in 3D Max using a plug-in called OrphExtract.

Does anyone know how to apply this information to a layer to generate motion blur?

Thanks,

Eric

I understand that ReelSmart Motion Blur can do the job. I've never had occasion to use it. I think the plugin comes from Twixtor. It's certainly worth a tryout, I'd think.

Hi Dave,

Reel Smart Motion (from RE:Vision)was the missing link. Thanks, again.

[Eric Goldstein] "How is it you know so much?"

I read the threads on the COW regularly. There are a lot of people here who are a lot smarter than I am, and I remember what they write.
