CS6 Full resolution export issues

Hi there,

I'm having problems exporting my Motion graphics sequence in Full Resolution.

I never have issues with it but for some reason in this sequence when I export if for 2048/1080 when trying to play it back it only shows part of the frame not the actual full frame . I checked that the player fit to screen but that doesn't help.
So basically let;s say I have a chair and a desk in the full frame what I'm seeing after exporting if only the leg of the desk 'zoomed in' in a way and that's when the player is set to fit to screen.
It doesn't happen with MOV files though only with motion graphics elements
Any tips ? I have to go into a grading session tomorrow and I can't export!

Can you share some screenshots of your UI? Something that shows us what you see in Ae, versus what you see in the rendered movie?

Hi Walter,

Thanks for replying ...so what I found out in the meantime is that when I turned off layers that were Jpegs and only kept the MOV layers the problem is gone so now I have to figure out how to force those jpeg files which have a lot of effects on them to maintain the resolution

Any clue ?

Eve

Hi ,

So what I found out is that layers that are jpeg have caused it . When I turned it of the problem doesn't exist. How do I force the jpeg layers that have a lot of effects on them to maintain resolution?

It's hard to prescribe a solution without being able to see anything about your project to diagnose the problem.

Is there anything you can share so that we can see what you are seeing?

that's what it is supposed to look like . I also tried exporting a jpeg file or a DPX nothing works ...this usually doesn't happen and I work on my machine a lot but I admit usually I work with MOV files so it must be some sort of setting I am not aware of

Thanks, but I was hoping to see some of your Ae UI -- the timeline, the layers, etc.

Is it possible that your view in Ae is not set to "Active camera?" This could cause a difference between what you see in the viewer panel and what you see in renders.

What do you see if you set the viewer to Full resolution?

What effects are you applying to the JPEGs?

What are the dimensions of the JPEGs?

Walter,

full resolution doesn't change the frame it's just higher in resolution on the viewer

Here's screen shots of the doc size and the effects for this specific sequence

If it looks different in your viewer at full res than it does in your output, can you post your render queue settings?

That's what I would like to use but I've tried many other settings

So looks like I found what the problem is (at least I hope so). I have tried a different sequence with the same setting and this problem doesn't occur there so I think it is the BG document I'm using that for some reason is causing it.
In the new sequence I am using a different BG Jpeg Document with the same effects but there is no issue there.
So the solution- replace the BG Jpeg layer ...

Thanks for you time Walter and stay safe!
