I've never had this happen before, so I figured I'd turn to the experts.
I'm creating an Earth Zoom from Outer Space to my living room, and have created the comp with screen grabs of Google earth from Space to City, and then drone footage from there to my roof.
I've parented each layer to each other, with the drone, close up footage being the master.
When I scale from close to extreme wide, to avoid the annoying time ramp effect, I had been planning on using Exponential Scale to smooth it all out.
However, when I select both key frames, beginning and end, and then select Exponential Scale... nothing happens. No interpolated key frames are created.
That sounds a bit odd. That tool should just work. Can we see a screenshot of your timeline with the scale property you're attempting to apply it to revealed? Or maybe (even better) a project file without your assets stripped down to just the comp demonstrating the problem?
