Time remap makes my footage jump

Help!
Im using Ae CC 2018 to edit a client project, ive shot all the footage using the standard encoding settings on a Canon 80D at 1080p 60fps MP4 (h.264) and im trying to add a bit of time remapping, however whenever I add it to the clip it makes the footage jump around at random points in time

The footage is fine when i first import and is totally normal till i add time remap and then even if i remove it the clip remains horrible and jumpy

Any help is greatly appreciated! :D

Might be as simple as clearing the cache.

I would transcode the clips. Cineform is good.

Mp4-H.264 is not good when messing with time. I don't feel like going into details right now. Just transcode it and use time remapping. Unless you're doing something stupid with time remapping, it ought to work.
