3D Objects in After Effects

Hello, I created a beer can model using Maya and plan on using it in After Effects. What I ultimately want to do with it is as follows: I shot a music video where there's a bunch of Miller cans around the room, but I want to basically replace them all with cartoon cans with a fake logo (I thought about rotoscoping the cans frame by frame, but realized this would take WAY too long). The can I created in Maya is just a basic gray model, but I want to make it look like it's from a comic book with simple fills and thick outlines. Specifically, think the animation from A Scanner Darkly. How could I go about doing this in AE? Thanks.

Maya has a few Toon Shaders you can try.
As well as their Vector.
Sometimes you just gotta do it by hand if you're trying traditional.
Basically, don't use the 3D model.
Find a decent toon version online and play with it in pixel/vector (any image editing app).
Unless you are planning to use dynamics in Maya.
