Changing colors of flickering light rays

Hi,
I would urgently need your help with a video I have to edit. It's a video of a world map which is designed in dots and some dots are highlighted with light beams in various colors which are changing. You can find the video here:

The costumer wants me to change the color of the light beams to the company's colors, which are yellow, orange, red and rose. I tried the "Change To Color" effect, but it changes the background as well and the effect isn't very smooth as well, because of the color gradation of the light beams, so using a color key for the background isn't useful as well. I also can't mask each beam and change the color of each beam separately because it changes the color steadily.

Is there any other way I can accomplish the color change, with the standard effects included in After Effects CC 2015?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Wolfgang

Try the Hue/Saturation effect. You can limit a hue/sat change to a specific range of colors (with adjustable falloff).
