javascript ui string resource builder?
on Feb 24, 2017 at 10:08:26 pm

hi, i would like to build an AE UI in resource strings and OK I could, the language isn't sooooo bad, but surely in this day and age people don't do this stuff by hand?

Does anyone know of a (preferably) open source tool? I've searched the net and found nothing. Maybe I'm asking the wrong question. I fired up netbeans and it doesn't seem to include anything like that in it's javascript toolkit. I wonder if eclipse does it...

I do most of mine by hand, or recycle existing UI code I've already written, but there is this:

Ae CC 2015 supports a new panel system, based on HTML5 instead of ScriptUI:

Thanks for the tip. I probably don't do enough of such work to spend money on that product but uit's good to know it's there.
