  • Type out some text to make a text layer.
  • Then make a circle mask on the the text layer -- yes, you can do that.
  • In the text layer settings, make the text follow the mask path.
  • Make the text layer 3D.
  • Rotate & position the text to work with the image.

It WILL NOT be easy to make the text look good on a circular path. Text is meant to appear in straight lines. There will be lots of tweaking involved to make it look nice.

Cinema 4D is the "normal" application to do that, using mograph > mo text, which is not part of Cinema 4D Lite.

Hi Hanna, you might try pre-composing your text then using CC Cylinder on it in your main comp (resize in your precomp if neccessary)?

No mention if the film plate is static or if camera moves?

Free Form V2 or FreeForm Pro from Mettle allow for 3d distortion and displacement. I would use one of these plugins to distort the text/logo layer in 3d and match the perspective of the plane. You can also track the camera move in the shot (if it's a moving shot) and match the move.

If the camera doesn't move, Bezier Warp will be perfect.
