Compositing 3D scene with Cinema 4D - will the camera work ?

Hello

I hope everyone is having a blasting week ahead!

I am currently working on my 2nd year project for Uni and I am trying to create a 2 minute long shot in AE plus Cinema 4D.

I want the same feeling as the Deadpool intro, with a stabilized camera going through and passing around object, obviously not that complicated.

The movie should have a black background with lights added in C4D.

My question is, would making such a long shot in 3D be doable in AE? Or should I try and do it all in C4D? And if the second one, how could I do a long shot without blowing up my laptop when trying to scroll through the timeline?

I attached a top sketch of the idea as I am really bad at explaining things.

Thank you!

What are your objects supposed to be? Are they complex? If they are 3d meshes there is absolutely no reason you would start to create the movement on AE. Do it all within C4D.

And why would you think a 2min camera flythrough would slow anything down? Both apps are more than capable of handling this kind of scenes.

It would take some time to render things up, but you shoulden't have any trouble scrubbing the timeline.
