So, when I export, despite the Output Module saying "Lossless", if the audio was 24 bit, then there is a loss in audio quallity isn't there?

I'm not complaining, but I just want to make sure I know what's going on.

Thanks

Assuming you don't want to use 36 bit that is.

Hi Jerry,

We need more information. What is the source? Most cameras record 16-bit audio, where are you getting 24-bit from? What's your typical workflow?

Thanks

Source is just a 24 bit .wav audio file.

I just want to make sure that despite it saying "Lossless" in the Render Queue, it's only the video part without the audio that is actually lossless. It's just a yes or no question. If no, then I've misunderstood something.

I think the answer to your question is that the "lossless" preset describes the video signal.

After Effects isn't a particularly good tool for doing much in the way of audio in general, I'd recommend marrying your outputs from after effects and these 24 bit sound files in Premiere.
