Has anyone seen this full render work-space preview error?
on Oct 16, 2016 at 12:52:52 am

Hi,

I have been coming across this more frequently than not, sometimes it resolves itself and if the resolution samples is less than Full the problem manually goes away?

Any ideas of how to keep a Full level sampling without this occurring? Screenshot attached for reference...

Thank you for reading.

Thomas

Hey Dave!

I see your thumbnail all over this place...thank you for taking the time to provide guidance!

Okay, I purged memory and caches, set it to Full and still the same result...so strange.

Graphics drivers are up to date too..maybe move back to a Legacy driver?

Boy, I wiessh I could help! My workplace doesn't allow me to mess with hardware, drivers, etc. One thing that DOES come to mind -- if you like to stay updated, are you FULLY updared. Apparently, the latest update actually fixes things without breaking other things!

That may sound like a, "well, duh!" thing, to be totally expected. But for Adobe over the past several years, it's groundbreaking!

What version of Ae are you running? There have been significant improvements to Ae CC 2015 in the latest releases.

Hi Walter,

Thank you for responding.

I am using the latest release 2015.3 version 13.1.1.38.

Not sure if that provides any clues...

Thomas

[Thomas Brigantino] "I am using the latest release 2015.3 version 13.1.1.38."

I assume you mean 13.8.1.38.

Does it help if you toggle Preferences > Display > Hardware accelerate composition, layer and footage panels?

You assume correctly, that 1 is an 8...

Thank you for being Mad Scientist because that suggestion resolved...good call!

I appreciate you taking the time to help.

Have a great week!

Thomas

If that does resolve it, please consider filing a bug report here:

Absolutely, I was going to ask you where I could do so.

Thank you!
