Hello everyone,

I am working on a project where I have text scrolling at the bottom of the screen and I used the offset effect. The offset works great but I need it to be looping for about 10 minutes. I am having trouble finding a way to make it keep scrolling at a decent speed since the key frames are so far apart.

Can anyone give me some tips?

You want to create a loop that you can replay over and over. Check out the loopOut() expression. The trick is to make it seamless, for which the (unsophisticated but workable) solution is to repeat the beginning text at the end and align the positions so it looks continuous.

loopOut("Continue") is great for something that you want to have a continuous speed.

set a keyframe at the beginning, then move about 10 frames down and change the offset about 10 pixels. add the expression and the offset will 'continue' for as long as the layer is.

to adjust the speed of the offset, just move the second keyframe a little (or adjust the offset value, but i think it's easier to drag the keyframe).
