Hi again.
Thank you all for previous post
I have a very old problem.
I'm wondering how encoders like ganool , ShAanig, yify and ... export movies in .mkv and the quality does not change.
I wanted to convert a Full HD movie to HD (720) and reduce the size of file, but when I reduce the video bitrate, the quality reduces extremely and when I put it up, the size of MKV HD becomes even more than the original Full HD file!!
How do the encoders work? How and by what software they work? Do they export by softwares like AE or Cinema 4D?
All my exports from AE have a very large size. Help me with a high quality preset (HD 720)

adobe's AME now supports h.265(which is even smaller than h.264, but not as many players support it. also try variable bitrate.

you can also try handbrake with RF instead of bitrate. RF is constant quality,

the real trick is the bits per pixel threshold which means that a 320x240 with high bitrate would better than a 1920x1080 with low bitrate.
